Read 'What Happens To Your Skin During Menopause'Since we’ve already tackled the menopausal skincare concerns, it’s time to tackle the hot flashes. Food plays a major role in your overall health. What you eat can affect the condition of your skincare just as much as it can affect the intensity of your next hot flash. So, to keep your menopause symptoms at bay, here are some foods to eat to avoid the heat. Red WineRed wine? You don’t have to tell me twice. Red wine has been shown to reduce the speed in white estrogen leaves the body. This helps to maintain healthy estrogen levels by preventing hormone fluctuation.Red wine is also packed with powerful antiaging antioxidants, many of which can reduce sagging skin, as well as the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. So, pour a glass of your favorite red and enjoy a reduction in your menopausal symptoms. FlaxseedBring on the flaxseed to fend off the hot flashes. Both flaxseed and flaxseed oil contain phytochemicals called lignans, which have shown to reduce the frequency of hot flashes. As a bonus, flaxseed also provides plenty of benefits for your skin. It’s infused with essential fats and B-vitamins, both of which are essential for reducing dryness and flakiness. It’s so amazing that flaxseed can even improve symptoms of acne, eczema and rosacea. So, whether you’re using it for hot flashes or as a natural antiaging remedy, flaxseed will fend off your menopause symptoms. GarlicHot flashes are often the result of your estrogen levels increases and decreasing whenever they feel like. So, garlic is an excellent way to keep them at bay as each clove contains phytoestrogens, a plant-based hormone that can balance your hormones. As a result, you get less hot flashes and a whole lot of flavor in your diet. Bell PeppersAny fruits and vegetables that are high in vitamin C will always be the secret to anything antiaging. That’s why our Vitamin E & C Serum is so popular. It contains kakadu plums which have the highest naturally occurring vitamin C content than any fruit out there.Bell peppers aren’t as good as kakadu plums but they’re up there on the scale of vitamin C content. As a result, they contain plenty of anti-inflammatory and hormone stabilizing capabilities, which can be key to fending off hot flashes. Bell peppers also help manage healthy blood sugar levels – every little bit helps!Other Vegetables for Menopause: Salad greens and mushrooms. StrawberriesAs mentioned, any fruits and vegetables that have a high amount of vitamin C are great for treating menopause symptoms naturally. Strawberries are one of the best – and most delicious! In fact, they’re one of the best hot-flash fighting foods because they’re also high in phytoestrogens which, similar to garlic, help keep your hormones balanced. So, turn on the blender, make an antiaging smoothie and enjoy a reduction in hot flashes.Other Fruits for Menopause: Pineapple, melon… kakadu plums!
